Resolving Conflicts in the Workplace

Learning Path: Workplace Skills Builder

Duration: 1 Day(s).

Course Overview

Some days we just find ourselves in a situation where it seems like everyone we come into contact with is either having a bad day, or we are the ones having the bad day. And, sometimes, it appears we keep running into people who are discourteous, inflexible, miserable, passive-aggressive, rude, or dejected. We may just be uneasy ourselves. While it may seem like a better idea to remain quietly at home and avoid others, at some point we have to go outside or answer the telephone and interact with someone else.
Success comes from understanding how we behave, how we react to others, and how our behaviors can influence others. If we find ourselves in a difficult situation and can enter difficult conversations with a plan, we will have less difficulty interacting with the difficult people around us. With a plan, generally, we will have a much better conversation. In this one-day course, you will learn how to convert difficult situations into growth opportunities.
